BMW BrunoThe driver line-up of BMW takes motor sport for the DTM 2012 season to further concrete progress: After the two BMW drivers Augusto Farfus and Andy Priaulx committed by Bruno Spengler is now the first driver of a competitor to the future as many points on the wheel of the BMW M3 DTM fetch! The Canadian travels in the DTM since 2005 and was in the years 2006 and 2007 enter into second place in the overall standings, in the following years, Spengler came to the ranks of five, four and three. This season he has already celebrated two victories and three other podium finishes, which is why he is currently at the top of the drivers’ standings.

There is no official confirmation of the change by BMW Motorsport is currently not yet, but in motorsport can be no room for doubt about the finality of the deal. It is clear that the pleasure is likely to hold over the loss of the top drivers at Mercedes in narrow limits. For BMW, the change also makes sense because Spengler has much experience with the current cars of the DTM and therefore knows exactly what is important for a good DTM car. The former driver of BMW, although also excellent touring car drivers, but none have been able to gather experience in the DTM.

By the end of the season but will sit on for Spengler Mercedes-driving and fighting for the championship title, in the development of next year’s M3 it is therefore able to participate until late. It is also assumed that Spengler will be involved after the announcement of the change is no longer in the development of the C-Class for the 2012 season. From the perspective of BMW are thus three of the six cockpit occupied and it is exciting to see what drivers can win in Munich for the remaining places.
